Creating ceramic tiles for ‘Jeux Jeux’

I’m excited to share a project I’ve been working on and recently completed for ‘Jeux Jeux Okonomiyaki restaurant’ in London.

I had the great opportunity to design the restaurant’s logo, as well as create the 60 ceramic tiles that bring it to life. The pattern was inspired by the spatula used for teppanyaki griddles and the playful nature of the restaurant’s name “Jeux Jeux”.

Each tile was carefully rolled, cut and painted by hand with lots of care and patience. I learned a lot from the process and often found myself out of my comfort zone, but overall I couldn’t be happier with the results.
